In order to comply with the EU’s 5th Money Laundering Directive which came into force on 10 January 2020, amending the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017, we are obligated to obtain satisfactory evidence of both the (Landlord and Tenant’s) / (Purchaser and Seller’s) identity.
Information required to comply with the directive will be dealt with on a case by case basis, but this will include confirmation of (Landlord & Tenant) / (Purchaser & Seller’s) details, identification of major shareholders / beneficial owners, along with proof of address and identification for these parties.
